Personal Training International offers a specialized summer program for individuals seeking to improve their competitive performance in track and field and other sports competition. Training in the PTI Summer Track and Field Program begins by building a base of general conditioning, based on a careful analysis of current performance. First run in 2003, PTI is proud to count many highly accomplished athletes among its past attendees, including All-State, New England, and National High School Champions, NCAA National Champions and All-Americans, professional athletes, and an Under-23 World Champion.

Training is provided for all athletes in all track and field disciplines with applicable crossover to every sport:

  • All running and sprinting events, including hurdles
  • Jumping events, including high jump, long jump, and triple jump
  • Throwing events, including shot put, discus, javelin, and hammer

In addition to specific training for improved competitive performance, PTI provides focused conditioning programs, with attention to injury prevention, and special training in event performance and related competitive issues. Conditioning is especially important for the young, growing student athlete to prevent injury.
