Many serious athletes will experience a sports injury at some point in their career, but a proper conditioning program will reduce the likelihood of injury and can help you get back to your sport faster if you do become injured.
At PTI our trainers have extensive experience helping athletes create the appropriate strength and mobility that can counteract the muscular imbalance that are often experience when participated in a specific sport. Of course it's not just the repetitive, over-use injuries that an athlete can experience; there are also the sudden, drastic injuries that can happen with sudden changes in movement and direction. We work to help our athletes prevent these injuries by training "functionally and athletically," which you may not experience at a traditional personal training gym. In addition, all of our trainers have the ability to work around injuries and limitations, meaning you can keep up of high level of general fitness even while injured.
